Tänään teki mieli lähteä patikoimaan. Mantereella satoi kaatamalla, kun lähdin lautalla saareen, mutta kuten aina ennenkin, saaressa sää oli parempi. Kyllähän sielläkin satoi ja tihuutti aina välillä, mutta ei se haitannut.
Reissusta tuli kärpässienikävely, kuten kuvista näkyy. Osa sienistä näytti siltä, kuin niistä olisi joku haukannut palasen..
I wanted to do a bit of hiking today. It was pouring when I left the mainland and took the ferry to the island. But, as always, the weather was a lot better on the other side of the gulf. It was still raining and drizzling every now and then, but I didn't mind.
It turned out to be a toadstool walk, as you can see. Some of the fly agarics even looked as if someone had taken a bite of them.. Wonder how they are feeling right now..
Oli ihanan rauhallista. Matkalla taukotuvalle ei näkynyt ketään missään. Kastelin toisen jalkani polun kulkiessa suolammen läpi. Siinä olikin vähän vaelluskenkää syvempää.. No, säästyipä toinen jalka sentään kuivana.
Kämpän pihassa paistoin makkaraa ja join kakkukahvit ennen kuin lähdin paluumatkalle.

t was so peaceful. I didn't see anyone on the way to the hut. I wet my other foot trying to wade through a swamp pond.. oh, well, these things happen. It was just a bit too deep for my boot.
By the hut I fried a sausage, had some cake and coffee and headed back.
